Vern W. Lorbiecki

Age 70. Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side, April 12, 2006. Loving husband of Pat (nee Toman). Loving father of Gary (Joni) Lorbiecki, Kathy (Steve) Lembke, Christy (Rick) Hoffmann, Chris (Jeff) Brettingen, John (Jane) Beiswenger, Kathy (Gary) Versteegh and Karen (Brad Smith) Coman. Caring grandfather of Christopher, Danielle, Nicholas, Nick, Stefanie, John Paul, Jennifer, Olivia, Samuel, Joshua and Johnny. Vern is further survived by Linda and Mike Hansen, Ron and Bonnie Toman, and his best friends Tom and Darlene Meunier, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Tue., April 18, 7PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. Visitation held from 4PM until time of Services. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Vern was a foreman at Briggs & Stratton until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and rehabilitating wildlife with his wife, Pat.

The family wishes to thank his doctor and nurses at the Wisconsin Cancer Care Center, and the staff of Elmbook Hospital for their wonderful care.

A memorial will be established in his memory.
