Prost, Vernon E. Of Jackson, age 89, passed away peacefully into Eternal Life on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at The Kathy Hospice. Vernon is survived by his children Vernon A. (Mary Lynn) Prost, Audrey (Eugene) Dettmann, August R. (Christine) Prost and Rita (Victor) Fischer; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 56 years, Alice; and 5 brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2881 Division Rd., Jackson, on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 4 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service. Interment at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
