Yakos, Vida Age 93, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed February 14, 2015 at her sons home in Lake Orion, Michigan. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Frank (Gail) Yakos, John (Natthaphon) Yakos, Vida (Dave) Papp, and Edward (Nanthuna) Yakos. Dear grandmother of Francie Hill, Natalie, Caroline, Andrew, and Vida. Great-grandmother of Annalise and Kellen Hill In addition to being a seamstress, Vida worked as a machinist for 32 years at Allis - Chalmers Tractor Division, West Allis, Wisconsin. Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 10 AM with an in-state at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion, Michigan. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., Orion, Michigan. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
