Virginia Bernstein Obituary

(Nee Dzikoski) Of Milwaukee, passed away March 2, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Herman H. Bernstein. Loving mother of Dr. Joseph S. (Dixie) Bernstein. Proud grandmother of Alexander and Catherine. Dear sister of Delores (Niles) Fenton and Shirley (Warren) Gross. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Virginia received her Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1944 at Central State Teachers College (now University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point). She taught elementary school for 18 years including 4 years in a one room school for grades one thru eight. She retired in 1951 from teaching and then started Hampton Pharmacy with her husband Herman.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 21 at Village at Manor Park - Palmer Chapel (3023 S. 84th Street) at 2 PM. Private cemetery Services.
