I'll never forget the kindness of Walter & Helen to a couple of high school students of his who welcomed us into their home. It started with us harvesting apples for like .25 a bushel, but ended with friendship between Mary, Patty, and the Kugler family. They had a dog called Peter but we renamed flickaburr because he was always full of burrs. He loved to chase the tractor. I will never forget this kind, generous family. They so much to me.
