Diana Trahan Obituary

Diana M. Trahan, 82, a resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Diana was a devoted mom, wife, and grandmother. Throughout her life, she was known for her passions and talents. She had a green thumb that turned her garden into a Paradise, and she cherished every single moment spent tending to her flowers and plants. Her love for her children/husband and animals radiated through, she always had a heart on her sleeve for everyone around her. Her legacy will live on through memories we shared, the values she instilled in us, and the love she gave. We take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Diana M. Trahan will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Toby M. Trahan; grandchildren, Michael J. Trahan and wife Serria, Kevin Freeman, and Kade Freeman; sister, Dorothy McClendon Guidry; and many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Howard J. Trahan; parents, Lenora Boquet McClendon and Robert Hamner McClendon; brothers, Robert A. McClendon and Neil McClendon. Per Diana's wishes, there will be no memorial services. Online condolences can be given at www.samartfuneralhome.com. Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.
