Ginger West, 74, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Kaplan Louisiana, passed away on October 18, 2025. A visitation will be held in her honor on October 27,2025, at Samart Funeral Home Of Houma (Bayou Blue), from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on October 28,2025,at Samart Funeral Home Of Houma ( Bayou Blue), from 9:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am. The burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Adams ( Paul), Nannette Billiot Valano ( Darryl), Sabrina Martin; sons, Micheal Buquet, Ronald Martin Jr ; sisters, Doris Billiot ( Paul), Mary Champange; followed by Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her, Husband, Raymond West; parents, Lee Landry and Madeline Solet; brothers, Francis Landry, Milton Landry, Wilson Landry, Raymond Landry, Ronald Landry, Donald Landry, Paul Lodrigue, and Sidney Lodrigue; sisters, Linda Stendel, Yevonne Landry, and Anna Lee Garcia. Ginger was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She liked to spend her time doing embroidery, cross word puzzles, and she loved to shop and eating out at restaurants.
