Roger McMahon Obituary

Roger McMahon, 84, previously of Kane, passed away on Wednesday (April 13) at the Bradford Ecumenical Home. He was born on June 13, 1937, in Sergeant, the son of the late Paul and Leota (Smith) McMahon.

Roger had worked in a sawmill for several years and then after that had worked at Kane Handle until his retirement. He was a member of the Kane Fish and Game Club, the Wilcox Sportsman Club and the St. Callistus Catholic Church.

Surviving relatives include two sisters Cecilia (Robert) Peterson and Mary Lou Kribbs, both of Kane and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Penhollow, Jane Lloyd, Blanche Jay and Naomi Vaughn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (April 22) at 11:00 a.m., at the St. Callistus Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Wilson as celebrant.

Entombment will follow at the St. Callistus Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
