Anna Elizabeth Farney

Farney, Anna Elizabeth (Oesch), 87, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed peacefully at home, from this life to a new life with her heavenly Father, Wednesday, January 7, 2004. Her life is characterized by her grace, hospitality, and love for her family, friends, and her Lord Jesus Christ. She devoted her life in caring for her family and serving them with her talents in sewing, cooking, and childcare. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Farney; parents, Karl and Tillie (Fuhrer) Oesch; brothers, Ben, John, and Robert Oesch; and sisters, Rose Munson and Helen Ramsier. Survivors include four siblings, Edith Mayer, Indianapolis, IN; Emily Went, Martha Oesch, and Elmer Oesch all of Mansfield, Ohio area; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Donna Farney, Perryton, TX; Larry and Jackie Farney, Wichita; Terry and Mary Farney, Towanda; three daughters and sons-in-law, Chuck and Karlene Young, Augusta; Roger and Bertie Reimschisel, Andover; and Max and Judy Reimschisel, Augusta. Her legacy includes 27 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation with the family present will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, in the Garden Chapel at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2004, at the Apostolic Christian Church.
