Wichita, Kansas - Aubrey Janean Wilson, a vibrant soul was born on February 7, 1997, in Fort Moore, Georgia. She passed away on April 27, 2025. Aubrey's life, though brief, was filled with warmth and joy that she shared generously with those around her. She was known for her witty sense of humor, kind heart, and an innate ability to connect with others. A dedicated professional, Aubrey worked as a sales associate for Walmart, where her friendly demeanor and commitment to customer service made a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers. Her ability to make others smile will be remembered fondly. Aubrey had a deep passion for reading and embraced her identity as a devoted gamer girl. Additionally, her appreciation for good food often led her to explore new culinary experiences. She is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Gayle (Capsey) Wilson; her father and step-mother, Christopher and Stephanie Wilson; her brother, Owen Wilson; her grandfather William Wilson and his wife, Cristi; her grandmother Judy Wilson; her uncle Robert (Lynn) Wilson; her aunts Susan (Sam) Bursch, and Nancy (Mike) Venditti; along with her cherished 5 cousins. Aubrey is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Larry E. and Vickie J. Capsey. A memorial service celebrating Aubrey's life will be held at Woodridge Christian Church on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00pm. Memorials have been established with Epilepsy Foundation and Kansas Humane Society.

As they were known, in our group, Alfrodetta and her Mom, Lahira filled our Saturdays with wit, sass, and an obvious love for each other. When she was in the room, it shone with light, and made for more fun and laughter for all. We shall miss you, Aubrey, Rest well.
