Billy Warfield Obituary
May 7, 1933 - November 24, 2023
Wichita, Kansas - Billy Francis Warfield, 90, former law enforcement, security company owner, bondsman, and Freemason, passed away quietly in his sleep on Friday November 24th 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM on December 16th at Cozine Life Events Center (11500 E 21st St N, Wichita).
Survivors include brother Bob Warfield; daughters Janella Shellenberger, Janet Warfield, and son Billy (Randy) Warfield and wife Michelle Warfield; grandchildren Paul Shellenberger and wife Beth Shellenberger, Nichole Clubb and husband Dave Clubb, William Warfield, Frederick Warfield; and great grandchildren Abigail Shellenberger and Andrew Shellenberger, and Parker Clubb. Bill's wife Ruth preceded him in death as well as son-in-law, Bobby Shellenberger. Those who know Bill, know that besides age related medical issues, he died of a broken heart after losing the love of his life, Ruth.
Bill's wishes were that donations be made in his honor should go to: Shriners Children's Hospitals ( https://lovetotherescue.org/ ) or Boys Town (https://www.boystown.org/ways-to-give ).Cozine Memorial Group

Mr. Warfield lived next door to my parents and then my daughter, I have to say what a great guy Mr. Warfield was, he was a considerate, gracious man. He had a huge heart. We will miss him. I know he is happy now that he is reunited with his wife.

I met Mr. Warfield many years ago, during my wild days. This man kinda put me on the straight an narrow! Condolences to the family. He was a great man, an will be missed. Fly with the eagles, your now at peace..

Our sincere sympathy on the passing of Mr. Warfield. We grew to know he and Ruth as wonderful people and one of the best "tomato customers". He was a gentleman´s gentleman. We will miss our summer visits.
