Charles Peter "HONEYBUN" Yaverski

KECHI-Yaverski, Charles Peter "HONEYBUN" 86, was a Korean War Veteran, mechanic, Learjet Field Service Rep, and Flight Safety Instructor. He peacefully entered eternal rest in his sleep at home on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017. He was born Sept. 3, 1930 in Chicago, IL. Chuck was raised by his grandparents, Alice and Frank Jaworski (Yaverski) in Duryea, PA. While in the Air Force, he was stationed at McConnell AFB where he met Roberta Ann Pursell, his wife of 57 years. Chuck was known by his pranks and his mechanical expertise. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Jesseph, Katheryne Moneyhun, both of Wichita, Melissa (Dean) Rosenquist of Cocoa Beach, FL; grandchildren, Christopher (Christina) Yaverski, Jaclyn (Javier) Linares of Wichita, Gunnar and Reese Rosenquist of Cocoa Beach; 4 great-grandchildren.
