Elizabeth Louise (Betty) Widdows

Apache Junction, Arizona - Elizabeth Lousie (Betty) Widdows of Apache Junction, AZ, retired United States Air Force Major, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on May 25, 2024, after a brief illness.

Rosary will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 North Socora Street, Wichita, Kansas.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Mary Widdows; brothers, Robert, William, Donald and Thomas Widdows; and sister, Venda Hemken. Survivors are her companion, Lois Beeby of Apache Junction, Arizona; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews; as well as many lifelong friends.

A memorial has been established at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Building Fund, 861 North Socora Street, Wichita, KS 67212. Services in care of Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.
