We both knew George from working with him at Boeing. We were always amazed at his youthfulness. We had never worked with anyone who was working full time at his age or with someone who was a WWII vetran. He was always a pleasure to be around. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God grant you peace and comfort.

I worked with George at Boeing until he retired to take care of his wife. When I first met George at work he was telling me he flew on the B-17 during WW II. I told a friend and they said that can't be true the man would be in his 80's. Next day I asked him his age -- he was in his 80's. Everyone loved George.

I worked with George at the Wichita Boeing site. He was always respectful to all persons and we loved to hear his "stories". It was grand to know a World War II hero.
May you rest in peace George.

I'm sorry to hear the news about George's passing. I knew him during the later years of his Boeing career and I always enjoyed his stories, especially the ones about his times in the B-17. He loved his country and was a true patriot. I will miss him.
