Derby, Kansas - Ira E. Pray, 93, Retired Chief Engineer at Beech Aircraft, died peacefully at his residence Sunday, October 23, 2022. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Faith and Family Church Worship Center, Rose Hill. Preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Fern Pray; son, Ira Pray, Jr.; daughter, Janice Yoder. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Pray; grandchildren, Troy (Cheryl) Yoder of Kansas City, KS, Ira (Stacy) Pray III of Blackfoot, ID, Laurie Simmons of Claremore, OK, Christy (Kevin) Johnston of Platte City, MO, Jennifer (Colby) Ryan of Ogden, UT, Amy (Dustin) Mirmontazeri of Idaho Falls, ID; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren. Ira is also survived by 3 step-children, 8 step-grandchildren, and 8 step-great-grandchildren. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel. Share tributes online at: www.dlwichita.com
