Well Mom another late night for me....Yep you got it, I can't sleep...No matter what I do, sleep just won't come...I am doing well, have been a little under the weather lately.... But your FAMOUS last words "this to shall pass"...Which I'm sure it will...I miss you so much, but you are never far from my thoughts or heart...I hope you are resting well now, and all the pain and suffering are gone....You gave it your all and thats all anybody could ask for...I love you so much and will miss you until we meet in a much greater place....Always in my thoughts, each and every day...Love your daughter, Kandi

Mom, It's been a little over 2 weeks since your passing...We are all doing well but still hurt from missing you so much...Life won't be the same without you here but you will forever be in our hearts and mind...May you rest in peace from here on out....One day we will all be together again...So until then I say goodbye...With much love, Your daughter Kandi

I am so sorry to hear that JoAnn has passed. She was a great friend and we had many outings while we worked at the Wichita Eagle.
I know how much she loved and cared for her family. Though I never met many of her kids, I felt like I knew them, through her stories and memories of all of them.
She will be missed by me and my husband, who shared many late night dinners with her over the years.
Our sincere condolences to all the members of her family and may you all have peace in sorrow knowing JoAnn made a big impact on many lives.

My condolences for your loss of a very great woman. She and I worked together at Falcon, which she got the job for me and taught CCD at St Annes together. I will miss her very much. My prayers are with you all.

What a Wonderful Friend/2nd Mom. JoAnn has always been a Special Person in my life. She always had time for everyone, and I don't think she ever met a stranger. She was a kind and loving Lady. I will Miss Her!!

I am so sorry for your loss - your mother was one of a kind - she always treated all of us as if we were her own kids. I can remember our swimming pool times and your dad messing with your mom to get her fired up and us girls laughing. I also remember the wonderful tacos (of course made with potatoes) being made by your mother.
