Joyce Devoe Obituary
June 28, 1951 - September 17, 2021
Wichita , Kansas - Joyce Ann Devoe joined our Lord on September 17, 2021. Joyce was born on June 28, 1951 in Booneville, Arkansas, raised by her grandparents. She graduated West High School class of 1969 and shortly after wed her husband of 50 years in Christ the King Church. Joyce was blessed with two sons and later two grandchildren. She took pride in her 21 year long aircraft carrier at Cessna and Boeing. After retirement, Joyce enjoyed going to the Y and spending all of her time with her friends and family, and being Mema to her two grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by Ava Dozier (mother) and Astor Wingo DeFoor (father), Barney and Lillie Englebright (grandparents). Joyce lived every day spreading joy and will be greatly missed by her surviving family: husband Richard, sons Brian and Randy, grandchildren Ashley and Kaiden, sister Judy, niece Lori and aunt Ruby. Donations can be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation in Joyce's honor. "Precious promise God has given to the weary passerby: all the way from earth to heaven, I will guide me with mine eye."
