Keith cared for my wife in the ER as well as knowing him through work at LMH. He had a great impact on staff and physicians there and set a tone of calming peace in hectic times. A very good man who contributed His love to those with whom he interacted. Peace to all in his family.

I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Keith's passing. He was a good friend and more during my Freshman year at Southwestern College in 1970. I remember the beautiful voice and the talent he displayed with 12 string guitar and could woo any young woman. After Keith graduated from Southwestern College he went on to Seminary school and we lost track of each other. I left Southwestern in 1972 transferring to Oklahoma State University to finish my college and later married my husband of nearly 40 years this year. Many years later ran into Keith at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS around 1996 when he was singing with Bluestem. Keith still had the charm and talent that would capture any audience. My favorite memory were two songs he sang so well "Celebrate" and "Lord I what to know you". My prayers and thoughts are with his family, children, grandchildren, and now wife Judy. Keith was a spiritual man and will always remember what he would always say to me when I would worry about life was "there is no security in life except God". I know Keith will be in good hands and he loved people. Prayers for the family that will miss him and the people who will miss him as well with his love and generosity to all. Rest in Peace Keith!

Keith's amazing sense of calmness and true caring of my mom in the ER so many times was above and beyond the job description. He would always say hello and always had a smile on his face no matter what the situation. He will be very sadly missed especially at LMH Emergency room. So sorry for your loss.

It's been a few years since the last time I ran into Keith. His smile was always infectious and he had such a warm spirit. He performed the wedding ceremony for my 2nd marriage (and played his guitar and shared a song during the wedding). He was pastor at Grinter Chapel UMC when my 2nd daughter was born and performed her confirmation. I have fond memories of Keith and wish I had stayed in touch better. Condolences to his family. God Bless!

Keith was a wonderful mentor to my teen age girls back about 1975 when he was pastor of Grinter United Methodist Church, KCK. He was such a good leader for all the young people at Grinter and the other members. He showed us all that guitar music could be included in Sunday morning worship .... and it was good.

He was my care group leader at Institute at Baker University and a sponsor on our youth trip to NY and DC. A beautiful soul and quite patient with a bunch of kids. Well done, faith servant.

Keith was a great co-worker. His calming demeanor put all at ease. He kept staff laughing, and his musical talent was so appreciated. Knowing him, he is probably keeping those above laughing and sining.

I seemed to me that Keith was LIGHT to all he met....Resting in Peace is not something I can imagine Keith doing -- he is a shining, banjo playing, singing star now.
