My heart goes out to you and all the Geubelle family. I felt that I knew Leon because of my relationship with Gil, my sister Louise's husband, and through them I feel that I know all the Geubelles, whom I have always known to be a very dear and special family. Please accept my sincere condolences.

What an inspiration Leon was to so many of us. He showed us how to move on with our lives, with cheerful courage and thoughtfullness, taking every day as it comes, making the best of it. God Bless you Shirley, what a tower of strength, and courage you provided for all your loved ones.

Shirley, both Julie and I, too, have lost a good friend. As your neighbor Leon was so gracious and willing to help me with anything. He even bought one of my motorcycles! We loved talking about scooters and motorcycles. I will miss him! May God give you his strength and courage during this difficult time. Please call me anytime if there's anything I can do to make life a bit easier for you in the coming days.

Shirley,
I was so sorry to hear of Leon's passing. He was such a special person. What a blessing he was to me when Greg was so ill. I will never forget how he would take the time to come and sit with Greg so I could work, or go to the store, or just take a little break. He will always have a special place in my heart, and will be greatly missed. You and your family are in my prayers, may God bless you and give you comfort.

DearShirley and family, So sorry to read of Leon's passing. I have many memories of going to school with him at the OLD St. Anthony's school(small frame house) in Wellington.
