Nancy Brammer Obituary

Nancy Lynn Brammer, 76, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. A reception with her family has been planned for Friday, Jan. 17, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. N. Celebration of Life Service, 10 am, Saturday, Jan. 18, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 202 N. Clifton Ave. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Rogers, and is survived by her husband, Dr. John Brammer; son, Jonathon Aaron Brammer and wife Deanna; daughter, Molly Flynn and husband Timothy; sister, Susan Norton; grandchildren, Holden and Charlotte Mann; and many other extended family and friends who loved her. Nancy was born and raised in Winfield, KS. She completed her nursing degree at Wesley School of Nursing and practiced in Kansas City, Ft. Worth and Wichita. Caring for others was her passion. Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends and was very active in the Wichita philanthropic community including the Wichita Art Museum, PEO, Plymouth Congregational Church, Wichita State University, and others. Nancy loved traveling with John, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Memorials to: Plymouth Congregational Church and Club Parkinson's. Share condolences at www.cozine.com. Our deepest condolences go out to John, Molly, Aaron, and all Nancy´s loved ones. Nancy´s is a life to be celebrated. Knowing her was a blessing. She brought warmth and encouragement and care to all she touched. Nancy put her good intentions into action in tangible ways from organizing major philanthropic efforts to bringing soup to an ailing friend. Nancy took joy in life and brought joy to all who knew her . We will so miss having her here in person but we carry her spirit in our sweet memories.

Dear John, Molly and Aaron, It has been a long time since my time at Plymouth, but I remember so well your precious family. Nancy was always so friendly and cheerful, a truly good and wonderful person. The suddenness of her illness and passing has been a terrible shock to everyone and she will be missed. It was a shock to hear of Nancy's passing. God bless you all as you grieve for one so loved. Nancy was a beautiful soul, very gentile and kind. Molly and our daughter, Eliza, were and are friends from middle and high school. We were acquainted through their many activities.
