Phillip Leighton Obituary

Phillip Lee Leighton, 75, Fleetwood, died Oct. 26, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon L. Leighton; and his daughter, Lorri T. Leighton.

Born in Utica, N.Y., and raised in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Ruth “Pettit” Leighton and Bert Leighton.

Bestowed with the title of professor emeritus by Kutztown University in 2001, he was an avid magic and mentalism enthusiast and was well-known for his entertaining performances of these arts.

Surviving are three sons: Radd L. Leighton, Darin L. Leighton and Phillip T. Leighton.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The National Parkinson Foundation. (http://www.parkinson.org). Henninger Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements. www.henningerfuneralhome.com.

I.m sorry to read of your loss Phillip.I went to school in kindegarten with Phillip T,and we were best friends even when you moved to Catty.I recall a lot of funny antics with your Dad.Going to breakfast at the Quality Shoppe with you two.Staying at his house when you were up for the weekend.I lost contacat with you and would love to hear from you.I lost my Dad in Feb.I still live here in K-town.Again,sorry for your loss,but I have some good memories to keep of your Dad,a great guy,funny and I never saw him get mad.RIP Phillip
