Lucy, Brandon, Kyle, and the entire "Strouse" family,
I was so sorry to hear about Rick. I didn't realize he had cancer. I'm just remembering the great times we all had at Andale High a "few" years back. As a teacher, some kids are just more fun than others; Rick would be in the top category.

Dear Lucy, Brandon, Kyle and Strouse Cousins,
I was sorry to hear about Rick. I wish we could have had more time to talk at Aunt Martha Ellen's funeral. I am thankful for our short conversation, in which I realized his courage and wisdom that he has had during his illness. The girls, Richard and I will keep you in our prayers, that you will be comforted in this hard time. Since we moved to the Nashville area, we live too far away to attend the funeral or celebration service, but will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Perhaps, we will get another opportunity to see other soon. God bless you all!
Your cousin,
Tricia Schmidt (formerly Patty Rae)

Lucia, Kyle and Brandon,
Words cannot adequately express my feelings for your...in fact all, of our loss. He was my great friend for more than 30 years. His physical presense may be missing, but he is very much present in my heart...always will be.

I have had the opportunity in knowing you Rick for 18 years since the start of my involvement within the air filter business. You have been kind, professional, and very honorable as a business man. You have taught me the importance of hard work, respect and of course have always enjoyed your laugh.
You shared fun big family stories which matched similarities the same as me who also came from a large family.
Your spirit will be with me for years to come.

Thanks for the memmories.
