Bob was the Phi Kappa Theta house dad during my time in the fraternity. His dedication to the fraternity and its members was a model for us all. In a time of diminishing traditions, we had an everpresent link to our venerated legacy.
We all are richer for having known him. My sincere condolences to family and friends.

We were very sorry to hear of your loss. Even though we did not meet your father directly his legacy is definiatly communicated through his Grandchildren. By Talking to your kids it is obvious how much he was loved and treasured. God Bless you and your family.

It was my sincere honor and privelege to have worked for Bob Endres at the beginning of my design career. Over the years he quickly became both a professional mentor and a good friend.
In our time working together (and since) we shared many joyful laughs and a few tough times as well. His laugh and smile were truely contageous.
Through his extensive design work (including area and national businesses, hospitals, homes, banks, and churches) he improved all of our lives in subtle, artistic, and impeccably tasteful ways. He always tried to provide only the best for his design clients - many of whom became his friends.
Over the years he worked with many people in the Arts, Design, Architecture, and Construction communities. I was always impressed how consistantly he commanded respect from his peers and received praise from his clients.
Bob was very proud of Kansas City's outstanding Arts and Culture. After my leaving the region, he would send me the occassional article on the expanding Architecture and Arts scene.
Bob was also a man of strong faith. He was personally and socially active in his church. He enjoyed talking and working with church leaders, discussing religion, and was truely inspired by his trip to the holy lands.
My condolences go out to Gray, Tammy, and their boys. I know that he loved you all deeply. The joy and pride that you brought him was always evident and carried him though both good and hard times.
He was a good friend and mentor to me, a true honorable role model, and a great soul. He will be deeply missed.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Bob on the Shooting Stars event since it's inception. His imagination, creativity and determination will be truly missed. He has made such a difference in the lives of so many young artists in this community. I am sorry for your loss and the void this will leave in the arts community.
