Mr Roop was a good hearted man and wonderful teacher! I moved to Caldwell in 1976 with my mom and 2 brothers from a suburb of Chicago! Culture shock to say at the very least !! Mr Roop was very nice to my brother Tony and I and I will never forget that! He always had a big grin on his face and a laugh that was contagious He will be missed by me especially at Homecomings! Nancy and Family please know you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I was just asking about Ron the other day and looking at some old track records where Mr. Roop was recognized for his years as a track coach. My thoughts are with your family.
