HAYSVILLE-Greer, Steven "Steve" L. 65, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Visitation: Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the family receiving friends from 5-7 at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Monday, May 7, 2018 at Haysville First Baptist Church 125 S Delos Haysville, Kansas 67060. He was preceded in death by his wife Cathi Greer; father, Ralph Greer; grandson, Michael; brother, Mike Greer; and honorary parents, Kenneth Mathews (Nadine). Steve is survived by his children, Angie Struble (Josh); Chris Greer (Wendy); Jamie Greer; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Addie Struble; Will, Colby, Mason, Bo and Anna Greer; Samantha King; mother, Jean Jennings; siblings, Ronnie Greer (Christa), David Greer; honorary siblings, Audie Mathews (Donna), and Karla Charboneau (John). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 330 S Main St, Wichita, KS 67202.

Anjie, Christopher, and Jamie so sorry to hear about your dad. I really wanted to see him. We go back about 50 years. I have alot of stories of your dad especially at the cafe. And my ride in an Austin Healy car. That was so long ago. Once again sending a bountiful of prayers to your dear family. I have a pic of your dad wearing a womens fancy night gown at the xmas party at the cafe will try to find it for you. Love from the simmons family.

It was a pleasure to know Steve and I will surely miss him. We were all glad that the Greer family allowed us to be part of their family. Just like "aunt" Cathy, "uncle" Steve will live on in our memories but will be missed.
