Each time I watch a fashion show I think of Terese. I was wearing one of her fabulous outfits when shopping at Bloomingdale´s in NYC. A group of models stopped me and asked where I got my dress. When I told them Wichita Ks they didn´t even know where that was. Then I said it was a TW original and stated it like it was better than Chanel. LOL

I was saddened to hear of Terri's passing. Though I hadn't seen her very often for the past 30 years, in the early 70's we were best of friends as struggling college students. I'll always remember her great sense of design and how to express herself.

Therese is a woman I openly sought out for a friend because she was so fun and welcoming. She was not only the greatest fun friend, she would go to bat for you too. She was loyal and I was welcome any time I showed up on her doorstep, which was often. Therese was kooky too, another reason I liked her so much. She seemed to always be folding laundry, white of course! Or tending her numerous plants. She counseled me in the most generous, accepting way. She loved her family, Gary, and her grand kids so very much. She fought hard to stay with them, always with the greatest uplifting attitude. What an inspiration she is! Therese was so lovable and she will be deeply missed. Love you girlfriend.

Jesse,
Your mom, for so many years, was like a second mom to me. We had so many good times around her, and (at times) at her expense :). I will miss seeing her around and send my best to you and your family. What a fun/beautiful person to have as a mother.

Therese will be greatly missed. I have known her for over 37 years. She was a co-worker, and then a neighbor, and we became good friends. I bought as many of her outfits as my pocketbook allowed. My first business trip to New York was all T.W. fashions with matching jewelry by Nanetta Bananto. The models in Bloomingdale's stopped me one morning and asked "Where did you get that fabulous outfit?" I proudly replied, "From T.W. Christian in Wichita, KS". Therese was so talented and always one step ahead of the trends. She loved designing and gardening, but she dearly loved her grandchildren more than anything else!!
