Jo was my boss when we both worked at Swedish Hospital several years ago. She was a great person. God bless her and her husband.

Today is Monday Oct. 13. Yesterday Paul was to come to my home and dedicate my 14 month old daughter. I found out about his death on Friday the 10th from his son. I was and still am stunned about his death to say the least. Paul married my husband and I 3 years ago. He gave us a perfect and beautiful gift that day. I wanted him to do that for Kaylin my daughter yesterday. I managed to find someone to step in and do the dedication. We prayed for Paul and Jo and I know he was there with us. He touched my life in a way that I cannot explain and I will hurt for a long time knowing he is not with us any longer. I hope that he and his wife found peace and I hope that his family will be able too as well some day. Godspeed Paul. I will miss you.

How sad that two fine people are no longer with us. Paul married three of our children, baptized 4 of our grandchildren, and celebrated the Witness to Eternal Life for one of our parents. We always looked forward to Easter and Christmas, because Paul would portray a person who witnessed a particular event. These soliloquies made the particular season just a bit more meaningful. Paul and Jo had a way of lifting your spirits as they sang their duets. Thanks, Paul and Jo, for being part of our lives.

Pastor Paul performed my baptism and the baptisms of my three sons. He served as my advisor and friend during the most crucial time of my Christian development. I confided in him reliably. He took my hand and lead me to Jesus. I can hear him in my heart, singing "God Loves Yule-ee early in the morning." He is the only one who called me that. I feel the world is more dangerous without Paul and Jo and I will miss them terribly.

Paul was our Youth Pastor at Grace in Wichita. He inspired me to enter youth ministry and I have always aspired to treat the youth I worked with the way he treated us. He made such a difference in my life and really took the time to get to know me. God bless his family and Jo's family, too.

Paul married Todd and I a little over 20 years ago. I was impressed with him as a minister and feel sorrow for the problems that he has had in his life. I was comforted when he visited Todd and I at Craig Hospital after Todd's accident. I pray that the family finds some peace knowing that he did touch some heart in very special ways. For that I am grateful to have known him. God comfort the family and many friends that will miss him.

Paul and Jo were both very dear and a joy to be with at North Presbyterian during the time I was on session. I remember singing with both of them at the church before services. We watch our children grow together and for this I will always have a special place in my heart for them. May God Bless and keep their family in his grace throughout.

Paul and Jo used to sing this song with me, I have sung it to myself many times this week...because of their many lessons, I know they have found the peace they were searching for..."my peace I give unto you, it's a peace that the world cannot give, it's a peace that the world cannot understand, peace to know, peace to live, my peace I give unto you."

My heart goes out to Paul & Jo's family. Paul married my husband and I 9 years ago and baptised our daughter 7. He was an important part of my life and will be missed. I'm sorry for the pain his family is going through.

I want to express my condolences to all of Paul and Joetta's children and survivors. My daughter, Sarah Asplin, attended church with Paul and Joetta. I traveled in Up With People years ago and I know that Paul did also. My daughter loved to sing Up With People songs with Paul on Sundays. She was very close to both of them and this has been a difficult experience for her. She has a strong belief in the Lord and feels, as do I, that Paul and Joetta are with God, free from pain, full of love. God bless all of you.
