Eric William Burkett, son of Bruce William and Marjean (Tidd) Burkett, was born November 12, 1970, at Ottumwa, Iowa, and passed away March 27, 2026, at his home in Waynoka, at the age of 55 years, 4 months, and 15 days.
Eric graduated from Taylorsville High School in Utah with the Class of 1989 and later received his Masters in Business from Ashford University in Iowa. He lived in Wichita, Kansas before moving to Waynoka where he has lived the past 10 years. He was drawn to the dunes and owns rentals near the dunes.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce, Sr. and Marjean Burkett.
He is survived by his son, Brody William Burkett of Waynoka; and his brothers, Brent Burkett of Utah and Bruce Burkett of Waynoka; other relatives and friends.
