Dwayne Gerald Currier

Memorial services for Dwayne Currier will be11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Elm and Murrow Church of Christ in Waynoka with Pastor David Dailey officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

On February 1st, 2026, Dwayne Currier went home to Christ our Lord. He was born on July 11, 1956 in Raymondville, Texas where he was raised. He attended high school there and eventually joined the U.S Navy, which he proudly served for 16 years.

After the military he returned home back to the family farm to continue his father's work. Dwayne was greeted in his new heavenly home by his father William Earl Currier and his mother, Leona Oreta Bristol Currier.

He is much missed by his daughter, Sharon Melton. In his younger years you could find him riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar, and raising his daughter, and of course cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Besides his parents, Earl and Oreta, he was preceded in death by his brother, Quinton Currier.

Dwayne is survived by his daughter, Sharon Melton, of Waynoka Oklahoma; his brother, Dwight Currier, of Houston, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
