Andrew Perry deValpine Andrew Perry deValpine, born Dec. 2, 1960, in Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away on June 23, 2018. Andy spent most of his working life in Dillingham, Alaska, where he worked for the Bristol Bay Times, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, the Bristol Bay Coastal Resource Service Area, and the State of Alaska Department of Oil and Gas. He also served on the Dillingham City Council, produced and hosted "Mongrel Mix" on KDLG, and was a commercial fisherman. More recently, he lived in Staunton, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Maria; his sisters Stephanie and Renee, his step children Peter and Zoe, his nieces Anne, Kit, Molly, Mary; and his nephew, Dan. Services were privately held in Staunton, Virginia, and Dillingham, Alaska.
