I am shocked and so very sorry to learn that Mona has died. I remember her very well and very fondly from our time at the Applied English Center at KU. (And from when I visited her in Barcelona. What a great time I had there, thanks to her generous hospitality!) I will remember Mona as a kind, caring soul. I am quite sure that her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends, colleagues, and students.
