Tony, knew the sun was going to shine today! Been raining for like 10 days straight & today on THIS day the sun shines almost as bright as you. Can't count the times I wanted to pick up the phone & share something with you or just hear your "What's up Mick?". There hasn't been a time that I haven't thought of you or all the craziness that surrounded you or that you stirred up. You are missed so deeply but so many of us have such great memories of you that you live on through each of us. Thanks for putting sunshine in my life. Still miss your face though...
Your "Country Bumpkin"

June 10, 2009

I have so many fond memories of Tony, that it is hard to believe he isn't still here with us. Tony & I hired into Ford around the same time & became instant "Buddies". He always referred to me as his "country bumpkin" - he was always good at coming up with silly nicknames for those close to him. Tony was my biggest cheerleader during some of my hardships in life. I hate to say but I believe he was a better friend to me than I probly was to him, something that I will never have the chance to rectify. I am very grateful to have known Tony & very priviledged to been able to call him my friend. Tony will be missed by everyone he came into contact with, since he never met a stranger. I know that he loved his family unlike anyone else I have ever seen. May God watch over all of you & blanket you with His comfort knowing Tony is home, and is nudging God's hand to keep you all safe & happy. Tony always was a great persuader(huh Marilyn?). I hold tight to my memories of Tony now & forever, most make me laugh & now some make me cry. I will miss his antics & I will always Tony's face. He could light up a room, and now he helps to light up heaven. God didn't know what he was in for when he called Tony home, I'm sure heaven is a bit more exciting now.
My prayers & my condolences to the entire Andretti clan.

I will miss you Tony!! You were one of my favorite customers at the bank........even when you showed up at 2 minutes till close on a Friday to cash your check!! I can't believe you are gone. I never got to say goodbye when I left and went to a new position at the bank and I am so sorry. It makes me so sad that I will never see you again.....and those blue eyes.
Marilyn, my heart goes out to you and your family. I am so sorry that I can't be there for you in your time of need especially when you are dealing with the horrible things you are dealing with after your son is gone. You and Tony have always been good to me even though we just had a customer-based relationship. I will miss his unforgettable blue eyes. Please let me know if you need anything Marilyn.....anything at all!!
Goodbye Tony.....you are truly missed. I will see you in heaven and I always see your blue eyes when I see your mother's. Look over us from heaven like I know you will.

I am so blessed to have had Tony in my life for so many years. I will miss all of our holidays together. I am so thankful that he was there for me through all of my ups and downs. He always made me feel better even in the darkest of times. Most of all I will miss that "very serious look" with those big blue eyes followed by his big smile. I know we have all gotten that look at some point. Thinking about it makes me laugh. Marilyn and Bobbi you are in my prayers.

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear about Tony. I remember both boys so well. We had a great time with them when we kept them during your Hawaii trip back in the late 80's. Tony was a good boy with an infectious smile. We loved them both like they were our own. Your family holds a special place in my heart and may God be with you during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Andretti family. I worked with tony at the Ford plant. I have only known Tony for about five years, but during that short time he became a brother to me. There was seldom a day that went by that he wouldnt stop by and bring life to the day. No matter how he felt inside , he always wore a smile on the outside. Thank you for sharing his life with me. His character and smile will live forever. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sad that Tony is no longer with us in body but thankful to have all his memories in my heart. I spend my middle school summer nights and wee hours of the morning talking to Tony on the phone about anything, everything and nothing. I remember watching the Fresh Prince of Belair together over the phone. Tony was my best friend for so many years. He had an infectious smile and the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. He had a way of cheering me up like no other. I got to go to our 8th grade dance with him and still have the pics of his smiling face. One of the things I remember most and admired about Tony was how much he loved his little brother. He always talked about Bobby and how much he loved him and how proud he was of him. Nothing stood between Tony and Bobby. My heart goes out to Bobby and his family. Tony was such a special person to me and so many others. I will look for those bright blue eyes when I get to heaven!

His eyes and smile could melt anyone's heart, and his laugh could make you soar. Many of my fondest memories from high school involve Tony. He was, and always will be, one of the most treasured friends I've had the privilege of knowing.
