I worked with Barry for several years at Applebee's International. Although I have not kept up with him for a few years, I always thought much of him both as a professional and a person. He was very likable, genuine and someone you could trust through and through. As a workplace associate, Barry always made time for me and would always make the best of "tough situations". I was totally shocked at the news of his death and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I just looked through pictures of my last Christmas visit with my family. As expressed by many other friends of my nephew, Barry, he is laughing in all of the pictures. That every present "smile" of his will be remember forever. Barry had an unexplainable sense of humor that was unique to only him. I always skiied with he and Patti in Denver during the holidays. He always crawled back up the mountain to remove me from my many crashes into drifts and trees. We laughed so hard that he had trouble getting "me" uprighted and down the mountain. It was our laughter that I will remember. There are words that are symbolic of Barry ... honorable, genuine, truthful, trustworthy, open and sincere, loving, highly respectful, humble, responsible, and simply "just Barry." He was the strength for so many. Barry you are so missed. I love you, Bear!! Jo

News of Barry's death has shocked his many friends in this part of the world. I worked with Barry on some matters when Barry was with Western Auto and have kept in touch since he moved on. I will never forget his honesty, decency and his quick and infectious laugh. We could never get through a phone call without both of us laughing senselessly at one thing or another. When we last spoke he was scheming of a way to get us to a warm climate to wet a line and maybe...or maybe not...catch a fish or two. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He will be missed by me. My prayers and condolences to his family and many friends.

I worked for several years with Barry at Applebee's International.

He was bright, kind, compassionate, interesting, wickedly funny, hard playing and hard working. He lived life to the fullest. He helped me when I needed it most.

He was my friend and I shall miss his wit, his easy smile and ready laugh.

My sincere condolences to his family and all who worked with him in the legal department at Applebee's.
