Christopher Langley Cagle, age 36, passed away on February 25th, 2017 peacefully while surrounded by his family. Christopher was born in Overland Park, KS on February 28th, 1980 to Chris and Marilyn Cagle. Chris graduated from Blue Valley High School and continued to live in Overland Park. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chris was a champion sporting clays shooter. He started hunting with his dad at two years old. Throughout his life he traveled to Africa and all around North America hunting big game. His smile and caring heart will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle Peter Olarian. He is survived by his two companion dogs, Aspen and Molly; parents Chris and Marilyn Cagle; sister Jennifer (Jory) Bundrick; brother Richard (Danielle) Cagle; nieces Ava Bundrick and Aria Cagle; nephew Jett Bundrick; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kansas City Chapter of Safari Club International. Mt Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home & Cemetery. Dignity Memorial.

Chris was a wonderful person. I met him several years ago and we became friends. He was kind and generous and had a very caring heart. He also had a great sense of humor. I considered him a good friend even though we did not get to spend much time together. He will be sorely missed but his spirit is close. My sincerest condolences to the family. God Bless.

This is harder to write than I thought it would be. My nephew Chris was a quiet one but always gracious to me and his cousins, Chris O'Toole, Caitie O'Toole, Erin O'Toole and Ian Miracle. I will always remember the amazing summers at the beach in St. Augustine when you and the rest of the Cagle family came to visit.

I know you will be missed by many.

Prayers to Marilyn, Chris, Jen, Richard and sooo many other family members. I will see one day in Heaven with the rest of our families who are taking care of you now.
