Christopher Redlingshafer Obituary

REDLINGSHAFER SR. Christopher L. Redlingshafer Sr., 46, Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday, November 3, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2003, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, KS. Burial in Antioch Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, with a Celebration of Life service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Redlingshafer Education Memorial Fund. Chris was born July 27, 1957 in Kansas City, MO, to Raymond A. and Teresa A. McGilley Redlingshafer. He was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Miege High School and then attended the University of Kansas. Chris was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. He was very active in coaching CYO football. His professional career was in sales in the Kansas City area and most recently in the telecommunications industry. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Sally, four sons, Christopher "Lee" Jr., Johnathan, Paul and Mark "Bubba" and daughter, Annie, all of the home; four brothers, Raymond A. Jr. and wife, Lisa of Greenwich, CT, J. Ryan and wife, Ruth of St. Louis, MO, Dirk of Kansas City, MO and Rex and Janice of Fairway, KS; two sisters, Teresa Redlingshafer Gehring and husband, Geof of Lake Quivira, KS and Ramona Redlingshafer Simons and her husband, Monk of Dallas, TX; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will dearly miss him.
