Ray and family,

I admired your father from the moment I met him. I had that opportunity when Ameristar was still in the planning stages in Vicksburg.

He was truly a great man and will be missed in the gaming industry.

I am glad that I had the opportunity to speak to him when he was recently in Vicksburg.

God be with you during this adjustment period in your life and I know that Nancy will be a great comfort and support for you.

Ray and family- I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I was quite touched by a letter he sent me while I was employed at Ameristar Council Bluffs. I was activated directly after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Your father sent me a very nice letter thanking me for my service to our country. Its one of the letters I cherish most in my military history collection. His kindness and gratitude will be his legacy. God Bless you and Nancy.
