David Byerley was my father, and it has been almost 10 years since he died, I don't remember him too much, but my mom tells me that he loved me very much, and that she was so thankful that she met him and had me.

Bob and Alice,
Bobby and I were in shock and disbelief when we received your e-mail regarding David. We never met David but we feel sure from our conversations with you about him that he had a lot of his dad's wit, humor and talent. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to both of you and to the rest of the family. Your whole family, especially Maria and Lelia, will be remembered in our prayers that God's grace will sustain you through your period of grief.

What a sad shock it was to hear of David's passing. David was refreshing to work with: funny, good stories, a smile and a sincere adoration and love for his family that came across at every encounter. He will be missed. I regret that I did not attend his service. My deepest condolences to all of David's family.

I went numb when I heard the news of David passing. I have not had the pleasure of seeing or hearing from David in several years. However when I worked with David years ago, I was always overwhelmed with the talent that he displayed and the wittiness that kept me entertained, he had a special charm. I apologize and regret not attending the services, for I received the notification to late. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child, my deepest condolences to you and your family.

David was always a shining light in those mornings we waited outside of Musicians Friend. He was always concerned that my day was going well. He always had a smile and usually a quick story that made everyone pay attention. I know he touched many people who knew him. He will be missed and always remembered.

Dave, what a friend to have. A good husband, dad, and son. I will forever remember him as a man of many talents. My condolences to his family and he will be missed by many for sure. Playing cards with him is what I enjoyed the most. He always made me laugh so hard my jaws ached from the laughter he caused. What a man he will always be missed. I love you man.

I was very fortune to be touched by Dave's sense of humor and wit. I'll never forget Dave's creative passion when he was playing music or directing a movie! Dave was mostly proud of his role as a father and a husband. As a friend, I saw first hand the love he had for Maria, Lelia and his family. I am proud to have called him my friend and he will be truly missed. My condolences to his family.
