David O´Hara - I still think of you. You were a good friend, a sweet hearted friend. We were so different and yet, it never mattered. You knew how to have a good time and how to have a quiet time. I still do not understand the Trump thing but that´s ok. Just know that you are missed and you were loved and you were a very special friend. And a very good mischief maker, too! Big hugs.

I went to high school with Dave. He was friendly, a good athlete and good looking. One of the girls' favorites. I played football and soccer with him. Dave was always fun to be around and didn't have a mean bone in his body. I'm sorry that he is gone.

I have so many memories of David! All of them make me smile. His energy, his wit, the nicknames. He will certainly be missed. Is there a charity we can donate to that was meaningful to him?

As I recall, David never made a big deal about goodbyes; he'd burst into a gathering full of energy and then quietly slip away when he was ready to leave, which makes me think he didn't like saying goodbye.
So instead of Goodbye Dave...
We´ll just catch you on the other side.

David was always our cousin with the big grin - like a Cheshire cat that knew the punch line to a joke that was about to be told. Quiet, artistic, and affable, he made you feel at ease as he shared his and your thoughts and experiences at an unhurried pace that was refreshing.
We'll miss you, man!

Dave and I were close as brothers for over five decades. His joyful laughter , playful spirit and good nature will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Our adventures were many ,but most recent, our flight together in a two seat acrobatic airplane, might be the most memorable. The grins and smiles will last a lifetime.
My friend you will be missed.
Blessings and prayers brother on your final flight

David was a real character and always had a grin on his face like he was up to something . Had many fun times with he and brother Tommy in our days growing up in KC and PCD. He packed a lot into 66 years. Rest in peace my friend. Mac
