Diane Pace Obituary

Diane M. Pace, 41, of Fresno Calif., formerly of Kansas City, Mo., passed away after a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer. She graduated from Northeast High in 1984. She lived in the northeast area of Kansas City from age 5 to 20. Graduated from Fresno State University with a teaching degree. Diane was a very loving mother and caring person, and always had a smile for everyone. She leaves behind her daughter Alyssa (Fresno), mother Marie (Ancona) Szymanski (Phoenix), brothers Frank, Michael, John (JP) Pace, and her father John Pace (Kansas City), also her favorite uncles Frank J. Ancona (S.F.) and Don Ancona (Kansas City), and also many cousins and friends in the KC area. Services held in Fresno August 2. In lieu of flowers, family requests a memorial donation in her memory to the "Susan G Komen for the Cure" charity at komen.org.

TO THE PACE FAMILY, I JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I HEARD TODAY IM SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF DIANE, I WISH I WOULD HAVE STAYED IN TOUCHED WITH HER. MY TIME WITH DIANE WAS A GREAT TIME IN MY LIFE. SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON AND ALWAYS HAD A SMILE, BUT MY MEMIORES WILL ALWAYS BE THERE. IF THERE IS ANY THING I CAN DO FOR ANYONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
