I was just getting to know Doug via skateboarding in Kansas City. While I did not get to know him very well, he will surely be missed by the entire crew.
Deepest sympathies and condolences go to the family in this very tough time.

No, Doug didn't travel the beaten path,
he made his own tracks, there were his and they were true.
He is not the kind of guy you meet and forget about, once a friend, always a friend.
I know I will miss him very much, but those memories we share will always be there...

Doug was such a unique and special individual and it makes us so sad that he's not with us any longer. He touched so many peoples' lives during his time on this earth. More that he would have known. Our prayers go out to your family during this difficult time.
