Elsie Loreta Husted

Elsie Loreta Husted, 77, of Buckner, MO, passed away at her home. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 8, 2002, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Blue Springs Chapel with the Reverend Douglas Aldridge presiding. Burial in Buckner Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Carondelet Hospice or the Salvation Army. Elsie was born January 9, 1925, in Independence, MO, to Andy and Elsie Lee (Brooker) Riner. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Buckner. She was married in Kansas City, KS, to Norman Husted on March 19, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents Andy and Elsie Riner, her husband, Norman Husted in 1993, and her brother Raymond Riner in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine and Michael Church and their son Nigel Church, Sugar Creek, MO, son, Wayne and Kathie Husted and their daughter, Jessica Lea Husted, Buckner, MO, sister, Charlene Kraemer and husband, Ray, Buckner, MO, sister-in-law, Helen Riner, Buckner, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
