Fabulous Freddie, as I used to call you when we were children, you were an inspiration and a terrific father to an extended group that included not only your own numerous children and but their countless friends, too. You played basketball like an NBA player and you could wrestle APBA like Lou Thesz, who supplied another of your aliases. A master of all sports, your All-Star performances in the annual Thanksgiving Day "Turkey Bowl" are legendary. I doubt your son Steve ("Brute") will recover from that hit you laid on him back in 1987. I understand he still limps to this day.
Always a host to a household of kids, you and Jo, the love of your life, were like another set of parents to me. And you once sold my wife and me a phenomenal dining room set. You could sell anything with your personality, Fred, you were an unforgettable character.
A great number of people, including myself, will miss you a lot. The world is a better place because you were here for 90 years, and now it is Heaven's turn to enjoy your company!
My condolences to your family,
David Lierz

Although I am unable to visit with you in person, because of a recent surgery, I want to express my condolences to all the Kellerman family. I always respected and admired Fred, and all his family."May his soul rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon him."
