A celebration of life for Mike will take place on Friday, December 5, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Novel Place apartments, 9651 Barkley Street, Overland Park, Kansas.
Those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mike may consider giving to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Lung Society.

I'm sorry to learn about Mike's death. We were close friends through childhood and Mike was a best man at my wedding. My condolences to Ginny.

I had the great pleasure of being a close friend of Mike´s for over 50+ years. His competitive sporting spirit was high and fueled by amazing talent. Losing was never an event he took calmly. However this terrific burn was immediately calmed when he called or discussed Mike Jr and or Jayne -- the absolute love of his being. Writing my appreciation of our friendship is unbearable as i will miss our many times together. All my love to his wonderful family.
