Gwen Starkey Obituary
January 2, 2023
Polo, Missouri - Gwen Marie Starkey, 61, of Polo, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home in Polo with her family by her side. Born on December 19, 1961, in Salina, Kansas, to Floyd and Doris (Gettel) Jones. Gwen was a high school graduate and received her Master's degree in Business Administration from Park University. She retired from Ford Motor Co., after 30 years of service. On December 6, 1997, she married Troy Starkey. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Troy Starkey of the home. Two daughters, April (Daniel) Shaver of Kansas City, Missouri and Valerie Mills of Lexington, Missouri. Four grandsons, Nicholas, Donavan, Ethan and Malakai; and 3 sisters.
Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday January 9, 2023, at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service, Plattsburg, Missouri. Online guestbook and obituary at www.baileycox.com
