IVAN ROBERT HEAD

Ivan Robert Head, 17, from Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at 9:07 p.m. at KU Med. Memorial services were held Saturday March 2, 2013 near his home. Roberty Boberty was born on June 9, 1995 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ivan was currently a senior at Shawnee Mission West. He had also attended Larragoite Elementary, De Vargas Middle School, Ortiz Middle School and his freshman year at Capital High. Ivan leaves behind his father, Ivan Paul Head; mother, Angela Head; big sister, Alexandra Head; little sister, Violet Higgins; step-father, Richard Higgins; step-mother, Sharon Montano; step-sister, Becca Montano; step-brother, Richard Montano; Nana Maria Ulloa, Grandmother Susan Darling, Grandpa Greg, Grandma Berta, Grandfather Garland Burnett, Grandma Thea Moran, Grandpa Robert Ottens, Grandfather Richard Higgins, Grandma Kim Higgins, Great Grandfather Herbert Guest, Godparents Juan and Rosie Ulloa. He also left numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends from both Santa Fe, NM and here in Kansas. Ivan was a devoted, doting brother and an absolutely amazing son and friend. In his passing he became a Hero; through his donations he was able to save 2 lives and help 50 others. Ivan enjoyed playing World of Warcraft and his Xbox, listening 'screaming' to music, hanging out with his friends and texting them if unable to hang out, driving and was looking forward to a road trip after he graduated.
