Ellinwood, Kansas - Jack Andrew Teeter, 86, passed away in Great Bend, KS on April 1st, 2023. Born on June 19, 1936 in Wauseon, OH he was the son of Dillard and Gladys (Busani) Teeter. Jack was a Kansas City (Turner) resident from 1957-2015. He married Dianna Louise Lynch on August 17, 1957 in Brenner Ridge, MO. They moved to Great Bend, KS in 2015. She passed away on February 27, 2022.
He belonged to metal detecting clubs in Kansas City and Hutchinson, Ks. He was also a member of the Heartland Dalmatian Club.
Survivors include daughters, Martha Ann Socolofsky, Topeka, KS, Tammy (John) Sturn, Ellinwood, KS, Lori Jane (Michael) Spuehler, Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren
Jack was predeceased by wife, Dianna and brother, Ronald Dillard Teeter; step brother, Ira Teeter; and step sister, Virginia Mendenhall.
Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, KS. Memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Humane Society in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
