Jacqueline McAfee Obituary

Jackie, 59, died Sunday, August 8, 2004, in Kansas City, MO. Jackie was born on September 24, 1944, in Kansas City, MO, to Gordon and Mary Gorman. Jackie grew up in Bosworth, MO, where she graduated from Bosworth High School in 1962. Ms. McAfee resided in Kansas City for the past 40 years, where in the 1970s she was voted honorary mayor of Westport. Ms. McAfee is survived by her son, Dave McAfee of Las Vegas, NV; her mother and stepfather, Mary and Ercel Wilhelm of Bosworth, MO; sister, Deena and George Wolf of Kansas City; stepmother, Peggy Gorman of Bosworth; stepbrothers, Roger and MaryEllen Wilhelm of Columbia, MO, and John Wilhelm of Bosworth; granddaughter, Amy McAfee of Las Vegas; nephew, Jacob Wolf and niece, Hannah Wolf of Kansas City. Ms. McAfee was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Gorman of Bosworth. Funeral services will be held at Gibson Funeral Home in Bosworth, MO, on August 10, at 10:30 a.m.; burial in Evergreen Cemetery, De Witt, MO. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. August 9 at the funeral home.

Jaclie has been a part of my life for 8 years. While she did not live her life conventionally, she lived as she wanted, and was always nice to me and everyone she met. No person ever degraded her and always wanted the best for her. She will be missed by all. I hope she is now finally in a happier place.
