James Komorowski Obituary

James J. Komorowski, Sr., 83, of Kansas City, MO passed away March 7, 2008 at Menorah Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00pm Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO where the rosary will be prayed at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Peter's Church, 6415 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the St. Peters Social Services, 815 Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64131-1116. James was born September 3, 1924 in St. Louis, MO. He served in the US Army during WWII. He married Delores "Dolly" Brogan on May 29, 1948 in St. Louis, MO. James worked in the insurance business in for several years in the Kansas City area. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Thomas Komorowski; three brothers and six sisters. Survivors include three sons, James, Jr. and wife Mary, Mark, Philip and wife Karen; grandchildren, Mark, Mark, Kevin, Angela, Adrianne, Aime, Tom, Bridget and Ivan; a great granddaughter, Amanda; siblings, Geneva, Veronica, Norbert and Clement.
