We will always remember the good ole' times at the lake. The Pflumm's, Frank & Barbara Rock, Frank and Mindy Foster and Don and Joan Kelley. Here's to boating, swimming off the dock and life long friends. This is how we will always remember Butch!

So sorry to hear about Butch. We couldn't believe it when we read it in the paper. We are so glad he was able to attend the Teen Town Reunion with his sisters a couple of years ago. It was good to see him. He looked the same as he did in school. We too have many fond memories of living next door in McAnany Estates. Sorry work kept me from attending the services. A hug for you all would have been nice. With love, the Thomas's

I haven't seen Jim and Shirley since they lived in Shawnee.I will really miss Butch and am sorry for your loss.We had fun together building treehouses, sledding in the snow, playing army with the Lutz's and swimming in the pool.I have a lot of good memories of Butch and the family and he will surely be missed.I am sure we all miss the old neighborhood and it is not the same as it used to be!It is a hell of a thing to lose a son, especially at such a young age.Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I, like my sister Kathy had not seen Butch in years but like the story goes, we were inseparable on 61st street in Shawnee and our reps followed us thru the years. People still slow down on that street in the evening hours fearing that some "person" will be laying by the road only to find out it was paper stuffed clothes placed there by Butch and I. The one thing we had in common was love of family and large circles of friends. God bless you Butch, rest in peace.

I haven't seen the family or talked to Butch in years but I will always remember our childhood days growing up across the street from one another. The family treated me like I was one of theirs and I will always be grateful to Jim and Shirley. Butch was like one of my brothers to me. He chased me and pulled my hair but I loved him anyway. I have some very fond memory's of us.
I will miss you dear friend. Rest in peace. To the family you have my deepest heartfelt sympathy. May God be with you all in this very sorrowful time of your lives.

I grew up across the street from the Pflumm family. They treated me like I was one of their family members. I loved Butch as I do the rest of the family. I am heart sick over this news. I haven't seen him or the family in so many years. My heart goes out to both Jim and Shirley and to Butch's sisters and brothers and then to his own family who I am sure that he loved very much. Let God's love and his spirit be with you all
to sustain you in this tragic time. God Bless you all.
