Jerry Boldt Obituary

Jerry L. Boldt, 66, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009. Visitation will be on Friday, September 11th at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., KCMO. Private family burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 2400 Troost Ave, Suite 4300, Kansas City, MO 64108. Jerry was born on February 10, 1943 in Huron, South Dakota. He was the son of William and Elva (O'Neal) Boldt. Jerry worked for 32 years for the USDA retiring on July 31, 2009. He was a member of the Lake of the Ozarks No. 2517 B.P.O.E. Jerry married Lois Fiegen on November 4, 1967 and she preceded him in death on December 24, 2003. He married Judy Winfrey on October 7, 2005 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Judy, sons, Bill and David Boldt, stepson, Wallace Winfrey, daughters, Marcia Geer and Denise Arello, step daughters, Vicki and Rhonda Marshall, sister, Betty, 14 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Arrangements: Mt. Moriah and Freeman 816-942-2004.

Jerry’s Family,
We are saddened to learn of Jerry’s passing. He was my first cousin and neighbor during our growing up years in SD. We last visited in July of ’76 when we and our 3 children stayed at the old farmhouse withy Jerry, Lois, Bill, David & Denise. Fond memories. We keep you all in our prayers.

Jerry always had a smile and a bit of humor when we met at work.
I thought that he surely would be missed when he retired,little did I know. RIP my friend.
